Texture Pack Cleaner:

This Cleaner executable was made because you may experience a problem re-installing my texture packs in certain situations.

The problem appears if you have previously had one or more of my texture packs installed, and then uninstalled the game without uninstalling the texture pack(s) first. Upon reopening the texture pack at a later time in order to reinstall it, you may be prevented from doing so:

Most of my packs store information in your registry, among other things so that they can know what options you chose to install. These registry entries will remain in your registry if you don't uninstall the pack using its uninstaller. When you then reinstall the game and try to re-open those texture pack installers, they will read from the registry and "think" that they are still installed. And so, when you for instance re-open the DX:IW Unified Texture Pack, the Install Options page will show all or most options as "Installed" already, and/or you may get a message saying the pack is already installed.

The Cleaner will remove those old registry entries, enabling you to reinstall the pack.

Although I would urge you to always uninstall my texture packs properly using their dedicated uninstallers (found in your computers Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs and also in the game's root folder), I have made this executable as a fix for those who already have this problem.

Under normal circumstances, you will not need to use this Cleaner. If you have no problems using my texture packs and their uninstallers, this program is not for you.
